What services do you provide?

Knowles provide complete end-to-end supply chain solutions for our customers. We have a comprehensive range of services that add significant value to our customer's operations.

What storage solutions do Knowles provide?

We provide flexible storage solutions that align with our customers' seasonal requirements. We have clients in dedicated storage facilities with over 100,000 pallets. We also have multi-user sites that allow for smaller stockholding quantities as low as 500 and up to 20,000 pallets which enable considerable consolidation synergies and cost benefits. We provide racked and bulk ambient and temperature controlled warehousing. We offer customers extensive re-work, co-pack and value-add capabilities.

What transport solutions do Knowles provide?

We provide everything from full load, groupage to single pallet deliveries. We also provide customer dedicated vehicle solutions as well as ambient, refrigerated and bulker transport. We are able to provide real time estimated time of arrivals.

Who do you consolidate for?

Knowles consolidate for all delivery points and have some of the largest groupage capabilities in the sector. This includes all retailers and food service points. We are direct consolidators for Tesco, Sainsbury and Bidfood receiving daily orders direct from these customers made up from their various suppliers within our facilities.

What IT systems does Knowles utilise?

Knowles continually invest in our class-leading WMS and TMS platforms to ensure optimal customer service and operational efficiency. We EDI/API with all ERP systems and have extensive experience in delivering IT integrations with our customers. Our WMS provides real-time stock visibility to customers whilst our TMS provides ETA's to ensure complete end-to-end traceability.

What sustainable 3PL solutions do Knowles provide?

Knowles are very much on the road to net zero and are one of the leading providers of sustainable 3PL solutions in the sector. We now have our first Carbon Neutral warehouse facility with significant progress being made in all our facilities achieving this status. We have one of the largest electric vehicle fleets in the sector with 20 tonne rigid trucks up to 42 tonne articulated tractor units in operation providing zero-emission transport solutions to our customers. We provide all of our customers with accurate scope 3 emission reporting on an annual basis specific to their Knowles supply chain solution.

What accreditations do Knowles have?

Knowles are BRC accredited across all sites for warehousing and transport operations. We also have Soil Association, TACSSC and are Sedex accredited and SMETA audited.
